Just received the following information for 2009 Reunion in Washington, D.C.:

The Ashby Family Reunion is set for August 7-9 in Washington, DC.

The rate is $79 per night plus tax. The rooms are larger than the standard hotel rooms and the is a free Deluxe Continental Breakfast every morning. We will have a meet and greet reception that friday evening and a Saturday picnic at Six Flags park. I have reserved the pavillion to serve fried chicken, hamburgers and hotdogs anlong with mac and cheese, bbq baked beans, chips, assorted frozen novelties and plenty of drinks. The registration fee is estimated to be $55 per adult and $40 per child. registration fees should be paid to ASHBY REUNION 2009. Aditional activities are being planned. Yo whats poppin family?!! I'm kinda slow with checking my e-mails (still getting used to all this wonderful new technolgy) but I'm plugged in now cuz! This site is awesome!! I'm not really feeling the Obama t-shirt thing though. I fail to see the point. Our family may not include the U.S President but we have our own to be proud of. You know me cuz(at the end of the day he's still a politician), show and prove. Anyway, I'll be keeping in touch. Peace....
