- The proud parent of 2 fabulously intelligent and handsome young men. I am a 37 yr old single mother and college student. I enjoy helping people and reading a variety of literary genres.
- what is your favorite memory about your/our family?
- My favorite memory of OUR family is the annual cookouts in Pelham Bay Park! One time Bobby Reid rode a skateboard down the ramp that led from the train station to the parks entrance. He was smiling and laughing all the way down, as we cheered him on. Unfortunately he broke his leg, but he was the bravest and most popular adult in my book on that day!
Rest In Peace Bobby, you are missed.

Just received the following information for 2009 Reunion in Washington, D.C.:
The Ashby Family Reunion is set for August 7-9 in Washington, DC.
The hotel is the Quality Inn & Suites

The rate is $79 per night plus tax. The rooms are larger than the standard hotel rooms and the is a free Deluxe Continental Breakfast every morning. We will have a meet and greet reception that friday evening and a Saturday picnic at Six Flags park. I have reserved the pavillion to serve fried chicken, hamburgers and hotdogs anlong with mac and cheese, bbq baked beans, chips, assorted frozen novelties and plenty of drinks. The registration fee is estimated to be $55 per adult and $40 per child. registration fees should be paid to ASHBY REUNION 2009. Aditional activities are being planned.
