David Haller was diagnosed with schizophrenia at a young age and has been a patient in various psychiatric hospitals since. After Haller has an encounter with a fellow psychiatric patient, he is confronted with the possibility that there may be more to him than mental illness.
David Haller is a patient in a mental hospital. He has been there for several years now and life is pretty much uneventful. Then one day a new patient, beautiful Syd, arrives and he is immediately smitten by her. Little does he realise how his life is about to be turned upside and him discover special powers that he never knew he had.
Chose this show for no reason to fill a little time and now i have a new favorite. the way this is written is best compared to mr robot beyond and limitless. its so cleverly written its orgasmic after watching alittle i undertood nothing but needed to know what was what. its a new concept of powers (gene xmen)but super amazingly done. the cast i welcome there skill is written but they look good too and there energy works well. the show is fx not keen on them they have the best stuff and don't let it live out out its potential before the AXE. but i will happily watch how ever many series this gives us the way this written is unparrel to any other show. this is a podium series i would like to see any other show try compete. i love powers and shows with them but this is undenyabley cuttingedge. please share ur thought of this.
Just like every other FX fan I really REALLY wanted to like this show. But 3 episodes in and all I have from Legion is a headache! Don't get me wrong, I like weird offbeat things in general but this show tries way too hard to be weird and just ends up being totally stupid instead of thought provoking. Plus with all this weirdness that Legion buries itself in does very little to move the story forward. So you end up at the end of each episode asking did ANYTHING worthwhile even happen during this hour? There are ways to do weird where it's good…e.g.Twin Peaks, Lost, Mr. Robot etc…But Legion just misses the mark. I really hope they try to make some adjustments in the show if there is another season because the concept and characters are good, the show just needs to pivot and change direction to make it a really good show. I admire Noah Hawley for trying something different but it is just way tooooo much weirdness as it is.
