After years living in fear, humanity protect themselves with huge walls to protect themselves from the Titans, giant humanoids that feeds on humans. When suddenly a huge Titan breaches the wall allowing a horde of Titans enters the city and attack them. A boy named Eren decided to save his city and wipe out the Titan race
A teenage boy named Eren Jaeger must use his special gift to fight alongside with the military to defeat the titan race. Mankind is on the brink of extinction when these man-eating monsters terrorize everybody and set to destroy the last of human civilization left in the world.

Effects: 6.

They made a great job with the titans, even though some of them didn't look that great and too human. The first titan and erren were amazing.

Story development: 9.

They changed the original story so that they can condense the whole thing until Erren transformation to less than 2 hours, if they had sticked to the original story it would've lacked on character development and still they would've left out many things, I think with this approach is more enjoyable both for fans and non-fans of the anime/manga. I believe they'll be splitting this into 3 parts and if they pretend to end the trilogy before the manga ends, it makes a lot sense that they didn't stick to the original story.

Acting: 6.

The actors were pretty good, even though to my opinion they didn't resemble the ones from the anime series(I might be wrong, it's been a while since I watched the anime). I think since they changed the story a bit, it makes sense that they would change characters a bit also and add new ones. plus so far I don't think they'll be omitting the original characters. The acting will look kind of weird if you've never watched a Japanese film before.

Music: 7.

There's not much to say here, the music throughout the movie was really good, I can only complain that they could come up with a better ending soundtrack for this movie, I hope we get a better one for the next movie.

Total Score: 7 This movie was terrible. If you read or watch the anime then you'll quickly get extremely annoyed in the first 30 minutes of the movie and I promise you that you will end up very disappointed by the end of the movie. The story is terrible and many characters are portrayed incorrectly.

If you truly need to watch it then do not waste your money on it and instead watch it for free online or in a later date of release. The movie isn't even worth a dollar. It looks like they rushed this movie and only made it for the purpose of grabbing quick cash because of how big Attack on Titan series are at this moment in the manga world. I'm also sure that the movie budget were very low because the CGI were horrendous! Especially when the characters were using their gears. The only good part about the movie are the titans and their brutality.
